The Dog Problem (2006)

On the advice of his therapist (Don Cheadle), depressed and down-on-his-luck writer Solo (Giovanni Ribisi) purchases a pooch for companionship -- and gets all kinds of trouble instead. With his four-legged pal dragging him forward, Solo's world expands to include a comely stripper, a short-fused loan shark, a high-society dog collector and more in this comedy of errors co-starring Lynn Collins, Kevin Corrigan and Mena Suvari.
