After a lifetime of dreaming of traveling the world, 78-year-old homebody Carl (voiced by Ed Asner) is lured into an unbelievable adventure, thanks in part to the persistence of Russell, an 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer (Jordan Nagai). Together, the unlikely pair embarks on a thrilling odyssey full of jungle beasts and rough terrain. I can honestly say that "up" is one of the most enjoyable movie experiences i have had at the cinema. At least this year anyway. This film has everything you could want (except swearing and stuff considering its a kids film) and is the only film i have seen so far that does 3D some justice, but could infact live without it...

I won't compare this Pixar movie to WALL-E, another Pixar movie that I loved equally as much. Because they're really different movies. But, they're both Pixar and they're both absolutely fantastic. So there's the comparison. Other than that, you can't compare the two.
