Terminator Salvation 2009

Uh... Like, was this one really supposed to be some sort of "Salvation"!?
Well, if nothing else, there was certainly one thing that could be confidently said about TERMINATOR SALVATION - When it came to blowing things up, it sure delivered that in aces. Yep. That it did.
But, with that said, if you actually went ahead...

My first reaction to Terminator Salvation was actually that for a number four it wasn't that bad. But it didn't make much of an impression either, as I find myself constantly forgetting that it came out just a year ago. Upon further review and rewatching, I still won't say this movie sucks - but it tries really hard to....

If Christian Bale and Helena Bonham Carter are in a movie, I am going to watch and enjoy. No matter how many Terminator fans tell me otherwise.
Sure, it probably borrowed from Transfomers with it's big robots, but at least we didn't have Shia LaBoef. Anyway the robot was cool and I wonder if the 7-11 that got blown up had...

I was going to pass on reviewing this movie. To me, it added nothing to the TERMINATOR mythology. It had some cool effects and some really whiz-bang Terminators, including an expected surprise, but as for substance, it's a side note in the TERMINATOR series.
