Frost/Nixon Movie Review by James (12/10/2015)

When discussing or talking about United States political history, everyone in the world probably knows who Richard M. Nixon was. He was the 37th U.S. President, and many people feel that, because of his actions toward the war in Vietnam, and the scandal from the Watergate hotel, have defined him as a bad president. All of...

Frost/Nixon Movie Review by Chris (8/6/2009)

I'm not one to sit down and watch a political drama such as this one, therefore I have not seen the original Watergate Interviews this film is based upon. I am also not old enough to remember anything about President Nixon, besides the fact that he is one of the most controversial presidents ever in American history. I...

Frost/Nixon Movie Review by Lloyd (3/6/2009)

I was not too enthusiastic to see this movie but I found a movie theater in culver city that shows first run movies for 5 dollars, after the movie has been out for about 2 weeks. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this movie. This movie brought back so many memories, it was like my brother and I were...

Frost/Nixon Movie Review by Movie Addict (1/25/2009)

As I look down the list of Ron Howard films, I find one guilty pleasure (Ransom), but nothing that equals the achievement of this film. With Frost/Nixon, Howard has joined the ranks of the great directors. He has made a film that is truly superb. While I still tend to prefer The Reader over this film, it is definitely...

Frost/Nixon Movie Review by Ben (12/15/2008)

"Frost/Nixon" started off as a play that was incredibly well received and went on to a very successful run on Broadway. It has now been brought to the screen by director Ron Howard, and Ron ends up giving us one of his best movies to date. Like "Apollo 13," he takes the outcome of an event which we all know about, and he...
