This movie is paced so quickly and so seamlessly that it impressed me that I didn't feel an inch of its two hour length. I've watched longer movies that have done the same, granted, but this movie does it with such impeccable style and class that it's amazing just for that fact alone.

I originally rented this movie because of the content. I believe that being gay is wrong in the eyes of God but people are still people and deserve to be understood. I won't go into the legacy of Harvey Milk except to say that he was a champion for the LGBT community, especially in his efforts to get everyone to be honest and come out of the closet so that all of us could see that we had friends, relatives, teachers, and others in our lives that were gay, and that was OK.
