Hate Crime (2005)
Gay couple Robbie (Seth Peterson) and Trey (Brian J. Smith) enjoy a peaceful life in a quiet neighborhood -- until a hostile right-winger moves in next door. When Trey takes the dog out for a walk and is subsequently found beaten to death, homophobic neighbor Chris (Chad Donella) becomes a suspect in his attack -- but so does Robbie. Determined to get to the truth and punish the perp, Robbie launches a complex plan with disturbing consequences.

Writer/director Tommy Stovall's first and only film is worth the time to watch for a very good story and some great characters.
