'Harold' comes from SNL writer T Sean Shannon, who fills up cameo slots with cast members from the long-running sketch show (most noticeable are Colin Quinn, Rachel Dratch, and Chris Parnell), perhaps compelled by professional nepotism, or simply by friendship, creating minor roles specifically designed with them in mind....
