The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)
description written by member Zara:
David Fincher directs this adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic tale set in the early 20th century that follows Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt), a man who was born in his 80s and continually grows younger. The story throws linear conventions upside down to explore love, loss and memories from the perspective of a character living under incredibly unique -- and unexpectedly difficult -- circumstances.

What an insanely, infuriatingly slow and boring movie. This could have been a television show where people followed it rabidly like "Lost" and all those other inexplicable shows that I don't "get" the popularity of and it would have been great.... For the people who watch that kind of stuff.

I realy...

I find talking about "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" quite difficult. Not because it was a bad movie or poorly acted, but because I find the premise really unfulfilling. If someone created a wazy for time to reverse than that means that everyone would age in reverse, so how come only Benjamin Button is the only one...

With 13 Oscar nominations and three wins, and almost as many BAFTA nominations and wins, there is no doubt that this is one of the best films of last year.
First off the makeup and visual effects and sets and cinematography and sound were all superb as one would expect of a film of this caliber.
The acting? Well, Cate...

Yes this film is an amazing technical feat. David Fincher has created some spectacular eye candy in his special effects and overarching concept. Unfortunately the film is seriously slow and drags throughout (anyone remember 'Meet Joe Black'???).
Brad Pitt, Taraji P. Henson and Cate Blanchett do their best with what they...
