Ghost Town (2008)

British funnyman Ricky Gervais ("The Office," "Extras") stars in his first feature film lead as Bertram Pincus, a hapless gent who's pronounced dead, only to be brought back to life with an unexpected gift: a newfound ability to see ghosts. When Bertram crosses paths with the recently departed Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear), he gets pulled into Frank's desperate bid to break up his widowed wife's (Téa Leoni) pending marriage to another man.

I think what I liked best about this movie was the performance by Ricky Gervis. While I understand that some people have tired of his regular shtick, I haven't seen enough of him (I haven't watched the British or American versions of "The Office," the British one being the version he gained fame on) to have it wear thin....

"Ghost Town" a slow moving movie. In brief, Bertram Pincues, DDS, played by Ricky Gervais, dies for seven minutes while he was having a medical procedure. After he pulled out of it he was able to see ghosts that needed his help. He cared less about their problems and tried heard to getaway from them, the story go's on...
