Twilight Movie Review by Zara (4/5/2009)

If I were a 12 year old little girl, this might have ended up the vampire movie for me. Instead, I grew up at a different time where THE LOST BOYS was the young tween girl's choice for vamp hotties. As a grown woman, I cannot fathom for the life of me why anyone over the age of 12 would watch this movie and be entranced by...

Twilight Movie Review by Lisa (7/10/2009)

My 11-year-old niece is gaga over this movie and the books that spawned them; she lusts after Patterson and wishes she were as waif and pale Kristen Stewart. I think every generation of tweens needs a good vampire movie; unfortunately I feel that this movie is letting down our current batch of tweens.

Ok lets start with a...

Twilight Movie Review by Mary (4/21/2009)

I was very reluctant to see this movie, but my 11 year old step-daughter kept bugging me about it. I figured what the heck, it's not costing me a thing to watch, so I went and picked it up.

First, I marveled over the beautiful scenery. Second, I was pleased that there were no explicit scenes or language. Third, I...

Twilight Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie (3/21/2009)

I teach secondary English, so yes I felt is was my duty to read all four of these books. They were a satisfying enough romance-vampire concoction, but in no way compared to J.K. Rowling's masterpieces. I wasn't expecting very much from the film given how weak the source material was.

To be honest, I think the film is...
