Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist 2008

description written by member Zara:

When his painfully recent ex-girlfriend (Alexis Dziena) shows up at a gig his band is playing in the city, Nick (Michael Cera) grabs the first girl he sees (Kat Dennings) and asks her to pretend that she's dating him -- but only for the next five minutes. He never expected their fauxmance to turn into something real. Still, the more time they spend together, the more it seems like they're falling in love.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Movie Review by Filmkiller (2/19/2011)

It's funny to me that I heard more than one person criticize (500) Days of Summer for being too "hipster" after seeing Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist which features a major plot point that involves finding "where's fluffy", everyone's favorite band who is defined by making it nearly immpossible to see them perform, the...

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie (3/21/2009)

Few movies can warm your heart while also making you laugh and having an awesome soundtrack. This movie is like a love letter to New York, city kids and the shenanigans they can get into.

Michael Cera plays Nick, an indie rocker who has been dumped by his annoying girlfriend on his "b-day". His band is a group of...

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Movie Review by Zara (10/11/2008)

While NICK AND NORA hits some commonly used plot lines (drunken best friend who's more funny than pathetic, b*tchy/skinny/slutty girl who dumps the sweet nice guy that in reality she never would have dated in the first place and then gets jealous and tries to steal him back when he moves on to another girl, another thing...

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Movie Review by Jarrod (10/7/2008)

'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' is the kind of movie John Hughes might have made back in the 80s, a smart, hip, and funny comedy with romantic overtones and a deep understanding of modern pop and youth culture, which have changed significantly since Hughes's time. Michael Cera has become a huge star since Juno and...
