My Best Friend's Girl (2008)

When Dustin's (Jason Biggs) girlfriend, Alexis (Kate Hudson), breaks up with him, he employs his best buddy, Tank (Dane Cook), to take her out on the worst rebound date imaginable in the hopes that it will send her running back into his arms. But when he begins to really fall for Alexis, Tank finds himself in an impossible position. There really isn't anything funny in this movie unless you're easily amused. The comedy is flat and boring, with the typical gross-out humour that it promises. Which really, is its biggest problem. This is another movie that I was not big on renting, but was talked into seeing. I figured what the heck, it only cost a buck. All I can say is that it was cute and made me laugh. (Loved the eyebrow scene!) I'm not crazy about Kate Hudson, but I am a fan of Jason Biggs and Dane Cook. I think if it wasn't for those two...

For people who don't care for movies that make us laugh but also give us a romantic funny ending, then this movie isn't for you. This is not a scary movie style of film. It is closer to a mix between american pie and how to lose a guy in ten days.
Now the other two people fail to mention dane cook plays his roll...
