This creepy supernatural thriller from director Alexandre Aja stars Kiefer Sutherland as troubled security guard Ben Carson, who discovers malevolent spirits living within the mirrors of a fire-ravaged department store. When their murderous nature comes to light, Ben turns to his estranged wife (Paula Patton) to help him save their family -- and himself. The supporting cast includes Amy Smart and Jason Flemyng.

Why is it that everything I've seen Keifer Sutherland in since he's been on "24," (yet another one of those television shows that I've never watched), he's playing a variation of his Jack Bauer character? Great, Keifer's older and he can still growl and kick ass. So what? That doesn't make for an interesting or charismatic...

'Mirrors' is Alexandre Aja's second major release in America, his first being the remake of The Hills Have Eyes, which became strangely popular after it's release. 'Mirrors' is a remake of a Japanese horror film called Geoul Sokeuro, directed by Sung-ho Kim. I have not seen the original film so I cant review this...

Having seen the creepy movie High Tension it is hard to believe that this is an alexandre aja movie but it is.
