Cleaner (2007)

After years as a detective, Tom Carver (Samuel L. Jackson) runs a business specializing in cleaning up crime scenes. But when he realizes his latest gig at a ritzy suburban house might have been a cover-up for a homicide, he must clean up the injustice. Our hygienic hero gets far more than he bargained for in director Renny Harlin's twisty crime thriller, co-starring Ed Harris as Carver's old partner and Eva Mendes as a grieving wife.

I'm a sucker for a crime drama. I don't know why. I started reading true crime novels back when I was in junior high and was even a CSI fan when the show first debuted. Something about listening to blood splatter remarks and wound entrances and exits has always interested me.
I didn't even realize this movie existed, and...

Samuel L. Jackson is always a good bet, and as an ex-cop that cleans up crime scenes while trying to raise a 14-year-old daughter (Keke Palmer), he is as interesting as ever.
He gets set up by someone who wants the evidence of a murder gone, and he tries to help the ever hot Eva Mendes try to find out who killed her...
