If you threw Annie Hall and Meet the Parents, as well as a Paris backdrop into a blender, out would pop 2 Days in Paris - a charming, hysterical and sometimes gut-wrenching new film from writer-director-actress Julie Delpy. It follows one couple's desperate attempt to remain calm and committed to one another while enjoying a two-day holiday in Paris, France.

It's hard to say how relevant this film is in the grand scheme of things, because it tries so hard to be small, yet it reaches between everything from romance to politics. It's sharp, funny, and never loses its step. It can be both hilarious and poignant. Maybe it flew a bit under the radar, but it's definitely worth...

One of these days Adam Goldberg might win an award on his own instead of being a part of an ensemble cast. There has to be a need for a jealous, hopelessly neurotic nut like the one he played here. Although, I do like his clever way of reducing the taxi line and, after all, they did vote for Bush, so they deserved...
