What Happens in Vegas (2008)

Set in Sin City, storyline revolves around two strangers who wake up to discover they got married sometime during the previous night's drunken festivities, with one of them winning a huge jackpot on the other's quarter. The couple set out to undermine each other and claim the coin, only to fall in love along the way.

Despite the odds, this movie made me laugh. I wasn't expecting much from it and overall, the leads don't really give you much to work with. Cameron Diaz, when presented in her "hottest" form in the movie looks like a leather handbag of a formerly good looking woman and Ashton Kutcher must be getting the life blood sucked...

Somehow this movie wound up in my blockbuster movie queue; I had heard through the movie grapevine that this movie sucked, so I didn't go in thinking this was going to be a laughfest, and while it wasn't; it was a cute movie. 'What Happens in Vegas' is a stupid and painfully unfunny comedy, but then I never enjoy any movie with Ashton Kutcher in it. I am willing to believe that Kutcher could act his way out of a paper bag, but I have not seen him do it; about the only film that has required any acting ability on his part was The Butterfly...
