Ex-card shark Tommy Vinson (Burt Reynolds) swore himself off the cards years ago, but when he takes on a cocky young player named Alex Stillman (Bret Harrison) as his protégé, he quickly finds himself drawn back into the world of high-stakes poker. 'Deal' is like The Color of Money; only it is about poker instead of pool. Burt Reynolds takes the Paul Newman role, and Bret Harrison would be Tom Cruise. Tommy Vinson (Reynolds) is a former poker champ who has not gambled in 20 years, perhaps because of his wife, Helen (Maria Mason), who is adamant about him not...
