Hit and Runway (1999)

In Christopher Livingston's screwball comedy, painfully untalented writer Alex (Michael Parducci) has always dreamed of writing a successful movie script. When his uncle in Hollywood finally gives him a shot, the macho, inexperienced Alex teams up with gay Jewish playwright Elliot (Peter Jacobsen), and the hilariously mismatched pair attempts to write a hit action film about a New York cop working undercover as a fashion model.

I almost gave up on this movie about 10 minutes in. I've seen my share of low budget movies to start to get that itch that tells me that a movie is going nowhere. Don't know what it was that kept me watching, but I'm glad that I did.
Once Parducci, playing the stereotypical macho New Yorker Italian meets and befriends...
