Mindwarp (1990)

Judy is not happy, and believes there's more to life than lying on a bed with a cable in your neck imagining you're an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh (or anything else you care to choose). Deciding to go and search for her missing father, she asks to be taken 'offline' and wakes in a post-apocalyptic setting surrounded by corpses on crosses, and watched by a man wrapped in furs.

We are going to be presented with Will Smith's I am Legend this week, and I hear it is about the last man on Earth except for vampires or zombies. It is supposedly the third film from a book written in the 50's.
This is a story about a possible last man on Earth (Bruce Campbell) except for cannibals that live underground....
