description written by member Zara:

Thomas Middleton's 17th century play is reinterpreted in this futuristic sci-fi drama about a bridegroom, Vindici (Christopher Eccleston), whose new wife is murdered on their wedding night. After 10 years in hiding, Vindici returns determined to hunt down the killer, a moneyed letch named The Duke (Derek Jacobi), to whom Vindici cozies up at first.
