An attorney (Vince Vaughn) has to leave his busy career and move to rural Kansas to take care of his five year old son after his wife (Monica Potter) decides that she is done being a mother. Just as he finds a new love interest (Joey Lauren Adams) his ex-wife returns and trys to rejoin her husband and son as if nothing happened.

A Cool, Dry Place Movie Review by Tim (11/17/2007)

I have never heard of this movie before. It was on Cinemax late at night and I saw that Vince Vaughn was in it so I gave it a shot.

I almost did not finish this film, not because it was too boring or any other reason besides the fact that the 5 year old kid in this just annoyed me so bad that I almost couldn't watch...
