10,000 B.C. (2008)
description written by member Zara:
The film centers on a 21-year-old who lives among a primitive tribe that survives by hunting a mammoth each year as the herd migrates through the tribe's homeland. It was a time when man and beast were untamed and the mighty mammoth roamed the earth. A time when ideas and beliefs were born that forever shaped mankind. "10,000 B.C." follows a young hunter (Steven Strait) on his quest to lead an army across a vast desert, battling saber tooth tigers and prehistoric predators as he unearths a lost civilization and attempts to rescue the woman he loves (Camilla Belle) from an evil warlord determined to possess her.

What a craptacular waste of money. I'm sure that the guy behind this film (the same behind INDEPENDENCE DAY) got his funding because of the success of that long ago flick. I'm not just talking...

How does something like 10,000 BC happen? $105 million dollars to commit this AIDS-infected, anal blood-bubble to celluloid; you'd think they could hire a writer and a director to dull the pain of an ill-advised concept. Perhaps there should've been a studio executive that could've looked at the contemporary junior high...

At first I thought this movie was going to be epic. The trailers made it look so great but the problem is the trailers literally show every great scene. Sure there were great special effects but only in like 5-6 scenes. The rest of the movie had pointless scenes. The acting was bad, the plot was bad and even most of the...

This movie is an EPIC, because that's what Roland Emmerich makes right? He makes these big cinematic movies like Stargate, and the Day after tomorrow. However 10,000 BC is epic for an entirely different reason, it is of course an epic pile of sh*t... too harsh you say, I think not.
For starters all our "cave men" have...
