Crazy Eights 2007

description written by member Zara:

The story revolves around six friends that reunite after 20 years at a mutual childhood friend's funeral. A search through their deceased friend's house reveals a map to a time capsule they buried some twenty years earlier which spurs the friends to find it and dig it up. After uncovering the trunk, the unexpected is found ... the rotted remains of a child. A child from a past they've long forgotten, a child that begins to haunt their every waking moment and makes them question who they really are. The closer they come to remembering the circumstances of the mysterious child's death, the closer they come to their own reckoning. The memory that will eventually kill them one by one is the same memory they need to discover to stay alive.

Crazy Eights Movie Review by Movie Addict (12/11/2009)

I got sucked into this by people who said it was scary and a good psychological thriller.

I must have missed the scary parts because it just didn't have any. I heard screaming, but there wasn't anything there.

The background music was very good and helped to set the tone, but nothing else delivered on that setting.

None...

Crazy Eights Movie Review by Zara (5/1/2008)

I won't lie, this movie spooked me a little bit. A story about 6 adults attending the funeral of a seventh childhood friend who has recently offed himself, the movie goes for that supernatural, ghost slant. The score, the lighting, the sets are all spooky and well-serve that tingle at the back of your neck angle.

It also...
