The School of Flesh (1999)

The heroine Dominique (played by Isabelle Huppert) is a good-looking affluent divorcee in her 40s, hunting for a husband or at least satisfying male companionship. She decides to go to a gay bar, believing that gay men are more sensitive and will become straight if only they could find the right woman. She meets a bisexual, Quentin (played by Vincent Martinez), and hopes for the best. The sex is good, but the relationship does not go in the direction she wants.

Director Benoît Jacquot (Right Now) has taken a script by Jacques Fieschi, based on a Japanese novel by Yukio Mishima, added superstar Isabelle Huppert (The Piano Teacher) and Vincent Martinez, in his first acting role to give us an interesting and satisfying look at the older woman/younger man romance.
