Quality Time (2004)

The world is flooding, and the government has taken over all aspects of society, including the forced living conditions for multiple families. Stewart Savage is a disturbed young man, murdering women who aren't interested in dating him. On his Dad's birthday, he loses control and takes his parents and the other family that shares their home hostage. As his insanity increases, he tries to change the world from what it is - a world where love has become resentment and fear has replaced trust - and use his force of will to make the world exactly how he wants it to be.
