27 Dresses Movie Review by Jarrod (1/20/2008)

The romantic comedy is among the stalest of movie genres, but it can work if you match the right actors with each other and supply them with decent dialogue. '27 Dresses' is not exceptional, it barely passes for mediocre, but Katherine Heigl and James Marsden look good together, and I actually was able to sit through it...

27 Dresses Movie Review by Zara (1/19/2008)

It's decent.

I want to address that in our local newspaper, the ignorant movie person reviewing the film referred to Heigl as being the next Meg Ryan. I beg to disagree, and very strongly. Because even though she's doing rom-coms, it's going to take more to be considered American's next Sweetheart. Heigl is too tall, too...

27 Dresses Movie Review by Thom (5/11/2008)

It amazes me that there are so many romantic comedies. What amazes me even more than that is that they somehow find a way to take an original idea and have the...

27 Dresses Movie Review by Anna (2/18/2008)

This movie was a surprise to me! I expected it to ge a "GIRLIE MOVIE" and it was, to a certain extent, but Katherine Heigl was great at not acting like a girlie-girl! I loved the movie! But it did get a bit slow with the engagement of her sister! It really didn't end the way I wanted it, or expected it to! Don't get...

27 Dresses Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie (2/16/2008)

Katherine Heigl is on the road to becoming the next Julia Roberts, or at least a sort of Drew Barrymore-Cameron Diaz mutt. After years of parts in lesser known fare (and the great TV series 'Roswell'), she broke through with 'Grey's Anatomy' and became a star with 'Knocked up'. Now it is all about maintaining that...
