Fear X Movie Review by Tim (1/25/2008)

The back of the DVD describes Fear X as "A gripping psychological thriller" and a "surreal, haunting drama." What I am dying to know is what kind of drugs the idiots that wrote that were on when they watched this film. There is absolutely NOTHING gripping, thrilling or haunting in this film.

John Turturro (Barton Fink, Quiz Show, and, of course, Monk) can be depended upon to give memorable performances, but this one stands out as one of his best.

I am not familiar with the work of Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn (Bleeder, Pusher II), but if this is an indication of his work, he should be examined...
