I really was expecting this to be something that a previous roommate of mine would have subjected to me against my will several times over, much like she did with BEACHES or DIRTY DANCING. I hated Harry Connick Jr. in this movie. I had to get that out of the way because it was foremost in my mind; I liked him in both Independence Day and Hope Floats, but in this he was miscast and given a really, really bad haircut.

I loved this movie. It took me through so many emotions. I was laughing while I was crying! Very romantic, great love story. The acting was great.
