With approximately 30 million surveillance cameras throughout the United States the average American is captured as many as 200 times a day. In department stores, gas stations, changing rooms, public bathrooms, no one is free from the relentless, unblinking eye of the hidden camera. LOOK follows several interweaving story-lines over the course of a random week in a random city, shot entirely from the point of view of the hundreds of security cameras that are concealed in every nook and cranny of day-to-day life. What emerges is a compelling expose of everyday people and the secrets that they believe are hidden. Are these invasions of privacy or essential security precautions?
