Stephen King's The Mist (2007)
description written by member Zara:
Published in 1985 as part of Stephen King's short story collection "Skeleton Crew," "The Mist" takes place in a small town where a thick mist engulfs the area, killing those caught in its darkness. Terrified survivors seek refuge in a supermarket, while a swarm of murderous critters tries to get in.

The Mist is one of my favorite King stories, ever since I first read it almost twenty years ago. It kicks off the Skeleton Crew anthology, and is by far the best tale in that book. From the gripping directorial style of the film, to the visual style of the movie. Also, he helped Stephen create a great script which was true on many...

Leave it to Frank Darabont to create a very effective adaptation of Stephen King story.
"The Mist" takes place (as just about all of Stephen King's stories do) in Maine. We see our main character, David Drayton (Thomas Jane), doing his work as a graphic artist on something that appears to be right out of "The Dark...
