Stephen King's The Mist Movie Review by Zara (10/13/2008)

This was very "meh" for me. The biggest problem that I had is that it's been a long time since I read the King novella that it's based on, but I still could have sworn that most of what goes on in the movie didn't go down in his story. That's not to say that the screenwriter here didn't try very hard - he did.

Stephen King's The Mist Movie Review by Movie Addict (9/12/2009)

What happens when you are trapped with strangers in the face of horror. Do race and class and religious differences come to play and exacerbate the situation? Sure they do, as they did in this film.

The monster was real and evil. The horror was definitely something to fear. What could they do? What would happen? When the...

Stephen King's The Mist Movie Review by Chris (4/24/2008)

Frank Darabont is already responsible for The Shawnshank Redemption and The Green Mile, two excellent Stephen King adaptations. When Frank Darabont's name was put onto the film, I really thought he could do an excellent job with the film. So, with all these horrible horror films being released lately, its finally time that...

Stephen King's The Mist Movie Review by Chris (1/3/2008)

As a reviewer, and a Stephen King fan, The Mist goes into my top ten films of 2007. Frank Darabont, the director, does an amazing job with so many aspects of the movie. From the gripping directorial style of the film, to the visual style of the movie. Also, he helped Stephen create a great script which was true on many...

Stephen King's The Mist Movie Review by Ben (12/24/2007)

Leave it to Frank Darabont to create a very effective adaptation of Stephen King story.

"The Mist" takes place (as just about all of Stephen King's stories do) in Maine. We see our main character, David Drayton (Thomas Jane), doing his work as a graphic artist on something that appears to be right out of "The Dark...
