description written by member Zara:

Portman plays Molly Mahoney, the awkward and insecure manager of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, the strangest, most fantastic toy store in the world. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium Movie Review by Movie Addict (10/7/2008)

OK, maybe I am not the best person to review this movie. Currently, I am trying to find and watch all 74 of Britain's video nasties, and this is a "G" movie, which is for what - those 6 and under?

I was suckered in because of Natalie Portman. I really think she was wonderful in this movie. Dustin Hoffman - not so much....

This was a fantastic film. First of all it is rated G and it is truly a G movie. There was not one hint of questionable language, no potty humor, nothing...

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium Movie Review by Matthew (11/26/2007)

"Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium", the new film directed by Zach Helm (who wrote "Stranger Than Fiction"), starring Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman and Justin Batemen, wants to be the next "Willy Wonka" but it has too little conflict, too little narrative and, most importantly, too little magic to make it the next Family...

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium Movie Review by Jarrod (11/20/2007)

Mr Magorium is a lot like Willy Wonka, but his Wonder Emporium, unlike Wonka's Candy Factory, is not full of creepy orange midgets and strange and cruel punishments for bad children. Magorium (Hoffman) instead has not apparently encountered anybody like Veruca Salt. He is more than two centuries old, and has run a truly...

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium Movie Review by Zara (11/17/2007)

Mainly, I was forced to watch this because my 7 year old daughter wanted to see it. I decided that I would make that accommodation because Jason Bateman is in the movie and I have yet to see a film that he's been in recently that didn't improve with his appearance.

And he's good here. The kid playing Eric in the movie is...
