Lions for Lambs (2007)

"Lions for Lambs" consists of three interconnected storylines: Tom Cruise as a congressman who interacts with a journalist (Meryl Streep); Robert Redford as an idealistic professor who attempts to inspire a privileged student in his class; and a third storyline about a pair of American soldiers wounded in enemy territory, one of whom is Redford's former student.

I like when politically based movies don't try and cram their ideals down your throat and become preachy, telling you what to think and how to feel. This is why Lions For Lambs works brilliantly.
The movie done in three separate factions, argues the case for all sides of the Iraq war, and for that matter war in general....

I was amazed at how much I enjoyed this movie because most of the reviews that I had read on it gave it pretty average ratings across the board. The cast looked amazing and Meryl Streep alone has enough pull in my movie world to make me watch something just because she is involved.
