30 Days of Night (2007)

Based on the Steve Niles graphic novel. In a sleepy, secluded Alaska town called Barrow, the sun sets and doesn't rise for over thirty consecutive days and nights. From the darkness, across the frozen wasteland, an evil will come that will bring the residents of Barrow to their kness. The only hope for the town is the Sheriff and Deputy, a husband and wife who are torn between their own survival and saving the town they love.

I was really unmotivated to watch this film after I got a new game for the xbox 360 that I had been dying to play and it sucked bad. I was already a little skeptical about this film to begin with and with my current mood I knew this was going to be a disaster.
It turns out that this was probably the best vampire film...

I had a difficult time deciding whether I should even go to see "30 Days of Night", the new horror film starring Josh Hartnett. That's a redundant statement – every Josh Hartnett film is a "horror" film.
I think Hollywood should change the focus of their current debates. Rather than the Writers', Directors' and Actors'...

Was 30 DAYS OF NIGHT - Creepy?
Yes!
And, Was it Gruesome?
Yes-Yes!
And, did I seriously believe (for even 30 seconds) that anyone could've possibly survived the Vampire Invasion in Barrow, Alaska for 30 hours, let alone 30 days? (30 DAYS!!??)
Well, my answer would definitely be - "No way, Jose!"

I never read the comic, in fact before the movie Id never heard of it but I wanted to see the movie. Man was it great, possibly the best vampire movie in years because of its originality. I mean why didnt anyone come up with the story of a town in Alaska where its night for 30 days and vampires decide to have a feeding...
