This film could have been so much better. The cast was well chosen with the exception of Eva Mendes, lets face it she is a pretty face and nice body but her acting is just horrible and annoying.
Mark Wahlberg (I never thought I would say this) is just become good in anything that he does. I really am eating my words on...

This is more of a family picture than a crime flick. Sure it's the cops against the Russian Mafia, but that action is just a small part of the film.

I had high hopes for this movie, because the Wahlberg/Phoenix dynamic was awesome in The Yards, but We Own The Night didn't measure up.
