Went into this film only wanting to see it because of my man Morgan Freeman. I did not even read the synopsis so the plot was a mystery to me until I watched it. With a title like Feast of Love it was not hard for me to guess that the film would touch on some aspect of love and that's just about all it does.

Once again Morgan Freeman plays the wise, old sage in the cast. At this point, he has played a similar variation of this role so many times I think he should get a patent. Anytime someone wants this type of character in their film, they should only get Freeman to play the role, or pay him a royalty.

Feast of Love is one of those movies that is almost great. It just needed a little something extra to push it over that line. Don't ask what it is, because I don't know. I left the theater with that satisfaction you get from Chinese food, you are full for the moment but you know you are going to want more in an hour....
