I have to say I am quite a fan of Ang Lee, the Taiwanese director of Brokeback Mountain, Hulk, The Ice Storm and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, all well-received by most critics, although Hulk had a number of detractors. His movies are more for the arthouse crowd, though they have enjoyed mainstream commercial success...
