High School Musical 2 (2007)

School's out, and Troy (Zac Efron), Gabriella (Vanessa Anne Hudgens), Chad (Corbin Bleu) and Taylor (Monique Coleman) land summer jobs at the country club owned by Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) and Sharpay's (Ashley Tisdale) family. When Troy and Gabriella team up for the talent competition, jealous Ryan and Sharpay scheme to break them up. Tons of infectious new songs and energetic dance numbers make this a fun sequel to the hit Disney Channel movie.

Certainly not as annoying as the original, this sequel follows the same squeaky clean cast of teens. This time around they are embarking on their first jobs working at the country club of Sharpay's family.
