The House by the Cemetery (1984)

description written by member Ben:

The Boyle family moves into an old home in the New England countryside. Mr. Boyle is a researcher investigating the suicide of a colleague. There's something really creepy about the house, though, and the new babysitter. Bizarre things start to occur and the Boyles learn that this house has a bloody history behind it, and a dark secret lurking in the cellar.

Its your usual tale of a family who move to a classy looking old house only to find it has a morbid history, somehow connected with the hot baby sitter they get working for them. What i...

The House by the Cemetery Movie Review by Movie Addict (8/6/2007)

The House by the Cemetery (original title: Quella villa accanto al cimitero) was one of 74 films that were banned in Britain. This "video nasty" was re-released with 33 seconds cut in 2001.

Mary Freudstein (Teresa Rossi Passante): Mae, time to go home and remember your manners. Now that Bob is staying with us, be sure to...
