The romantic comedy follows a misogynistic children's book author (Crudup) who is forced to work closely with a female illustrator (Moore) instead of his long-time collaborator and only friend (Wilkinson). Balaban is the book's publisher. Directed by actor Justin Theroux, best known for his role as Drew Barrymore's tormenting ex in CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE.
