I can only recall seeing Rowan Atkinson once before. He played the new vicar in Four Weddings and a Funeral, my all-time favorite film. Since I am not French, I was not impressed, as he just seemed like a Jerry Lewis clone, and I never like Lewis.
For that reason, I totally ignored this film until now. Boy, was I wrong....

Rowan Atkinson returns as Mr. Bean in yet another unnecessary Bean movie, Mr. Bean's Holiday. After 1997's feature Bean, I thought we had seen the end of our favorite British blunderer. I was wrong. In Mr. Bean's Holiday, Bean wins a vacation to Cannes and on the way there, he inadvertently splits up a father and son....

In order to like this comedy, I would suggest you to get to know Mr. Bean's work. I have to recognize that his talent is unmeasurable as it takes a complete actor to be almost speechless for 90 minutes and only perform mimics and still entertain an american audience.
