I really had no idea what to expect out of this movie. It was billed to me as a "chick flick," but with enough eye-candy to keep the guys interested. Boy, were they wrong.
The movie is simply enchanting and a deep story about love and all it should mean. Claire Danes has somehow escaped my notice until now, but after her...

Let me first tell you that I fell asleep every time I tried to watch this flick, so I'm writing this based on the bits and pieces I saw...sort of patch working them together like a quilt. Secondly, I love fantasy!

This is a great fantasy/fairy tail. It is really cool to see how things we take for granted, like knowing that stars are merely distant suns, and interprets them as mystical beings. It is reminiscent of more an innocent time before science came along and took all the magic out of life, or just made it seem a little less...

Many are comparing 'Stardust' to The Princess Bride, but I really do not see much that is similar between the two. 'Stardust' is not all that funny. It is certainly a colorful and inventive fantasy, but reminds me more of Chronicles of Narnia than the Rob Reiner classic with Cary Elwes and Andre the Giant.
