I was surprised by how scary 'The Strangers' really is. It is not so much scary as creepy, and it focuses more on genuine physical terror, though it does toy with both its characters and audience psychologically before unleashing its trio of masked killers, who arrive at the summer retreat of James Hoyt (Scott Speedman)...

Unlike the movie 'the happening', this is a scary movie, not only is it based on true events, this may be a short movie but this is scary and eerie. Please see this awesome creepy movie in the theater with a good sound system. You will not be disappointed in this eerie movie. Though this may be just a movie remember it...
