I've never been that crazy about the Shrek movies. I don't dislike them, and they do have their moments. The scene in "Shrek 2" where Puss n Boots gets caught with the catnip still makes me laugh. I'm not going to waste too much of my time reviewing this movie. Sure, there's stuff in it to giggle over and I must have no heart to rate it so marginally, but that's essentially what the movie deserves.
There are people who believe that you shouldn't judge sequels in comparison to the other movies in the franchise, but...

Funny, Funny and fun!!!! After all its a total kids movie! I hate it when adults have to take the fun out of a kids movie and try to bring it up to adult statis! Besides the way Shrek talks I love Donkey....I'm a huge Eddie Murphy fan! I'm really starting to like the animation of today! I have grown up as a Walt Disney...

I saw this movie with my two boys ages 9 and 5. My 5 year old was bored. The 9 year old never laughed. The story line was boring. You knew what was going to happen before it did. There was no suspense at all. The humor was worn out. The jokes were old. Some of the humor was geared to adults and i surely didn't think...
