  Hostel: Part II (2007)

description written by member Zara:

Return to the place where all your worst nightmares come true in this sequel to the hit gore fest. When three young American women take a break from their international studies and check into a Slovakian hostel, they have no idea they've walked into a chamber of horrors, where, for a price, wealthy psychopaths can live out their most gruesome fantasies by torturing and murdering visitors. Jay Hernandez reprises his role as Paxton.

Hostel: Part II Movie Review by Zara (11/2/2008)

Eli Roth is not a good storyteller. He also has yet to understand the art of subtlety, attacking his movies like a 6 year old hopped up on a 2 day Halloween candy binge. He slams into place the key plot devices as if he's set them aglow with radioactive material, making them scream "HEY, REMEMBER THIS PART! IT'S GOING TO...

Hostel: Part II Movie Review by Tim (10/28/2007)

I read what other people had to say about this film and still wanted to give it a shot. I liked Hostel part one OK, ZombieBoy stated that either people loved it or hated it and I don't feel as if that applied to me. My BFF Daris on the other hand hated it so bad that after we watched it he sold it on Ebay the next day....

Hostel: Part II Movie Review by Ben (2/3/2009)

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed "Hostel" when I finally checked it out on DVD. Director Eli Roth put together a pretty good horror thriller filled with the requisite blood, gore, and wonderful breasts. Eli also took the time to give us characters we came to care about which I usually never expect to see (nor do I...

Hostel: Part II Movie Review by brian (8/19/2008)

For those of you who loved the original, I think Hostel 2 is a worthy sequel. If you are like me & weren't particularly crazy about the first one, you might still enjoy it. I waited for DVD on this one & actually watched it twice on the same day.

I don't know where to begin on this one. For so many different reasons,...

Hostel: Part II Movie Review by Lloyd (8/2/2008)

After seeing the first movie there was no way that it could live up to expectations of outdoing the first one, and it did not. Everything here was predictable and brutal. Poor heather matarazzo, hanging like that showing her back side then being well you know if you saw the movie, but young women are trusting like that...
