description written by member Zara:
Return to the place where all your worst nightmares come true in this sequel to the hit gore fest. When three young American women take a break from their international studies and check into a Slovakian hostel, they have no idea they've walked into a chamber of horrors, where, for a price, wealthy psychopaths can live out their most gruesome fantasies by torturing and murdering visitors. Eli Roth is not a good storyteller. He also has yet to understand the art of subtlety, attacking his movies like a 6 year old hopped up on a 2 day Halloween candy binge. For those of you who loved the original, I think Hostel 2 is a worthy sequel. If you are like me & weren't particularly crazy about the first one, you might still enjoy it. I waited for DVD on this one & actually watched it twice on the same day.
I don't know where to begin on this one. For so many different reasons,...

After seeing the first movie there was no way that it could live up to expectations of outdoing the first one, and it did not. Everything here was predictable and brutal. Poor heather matarazzo, hanging like that showing her back side then being well you know if you saw the movie, but young women are trusting like that...
