An Irishman living in the small town of Jindabyne, Australia is on a fishing trip with some buddies when they stumbled upon the murderer corpse of a young woman. Rather than report it right away, the men continue fishing. When he returns home and tells his wife what happened, she is disturbed that he waited so long to tell someone.

This film covers so many different issues that you might think it gets muddled, but they all come out in the course of a story and fit nicely in the puzzle.
