My Man Godfrey (1936)

The story of a down on his luck former businessman who is living in a
shantytown. He becomes involved with a wealthy family and begins
working as their butler, while their daughter falls in love with him.
Eventually they realize who he is and hilarity ensues.

A comedy about a rich girl playing a scavenger hunt who must find a 'forgotten man', who lives in a shanty town under the bridge, to win the prize. She then makes him the family butler and, of course, falls in love with him.
A simple enough story, but when the girl is Carole Lombard at her over-dramatic spoiled rich...
