Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007)

description written by member Zara:

At the end of the last installment in the Pirates franchise we caught the epic scene of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) being consumed by the monster that dragged him down into Davy Jone's locker. Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) seek out the guidance of the voodoo woman in the swamps where they are reintroduced to Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). As part three begins we see the threesome gather a crew together to form a rescue party for Captain Jack. Producer Gore Verbinski has promised that this isn't just a tale of the heroes going to the World's End to find Captain Jack, it's also the representation of the end of piracy. On May 25th, 2007 we'll discover all of the answers we seek as the movie sets sail for the conclusion of this epic tale.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End Movie Review by Max (7/2/2007)

In the opening scene of Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End, there is a long line of pirates (and those who have affiliated with pirates) heading towards the gallows in Port Royal. A small boy about to be hanged begins singing (and humorously enough has braces) and gets the other pirates to join in his singing, an...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End Movie Review by Matthew (5/31/2007)

I saw "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" during their Thursday evening previews and at about the two hour mark my butt started to get really sore, but with almost another hour, my butt had a ways to go. The next day, I was telling a co-worker how I loved the first film, really enjoyed the second and absolutely...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End Movie Review by Tim (5/28/2007)

Well Mitch's review of this film was so close to what I wanted to say about it that I am having a hard time writing this one without sounding like I copied his.

I will say that I was extremely bored with this film. When the 1.5 hour mark hit I was literally hoping that the projector would break or a fire would break...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End Movie Review by Zara (5/25/2007)

It still shocks the sh*t out of me that this was turned into a successful franchise. People often turn to me in confusion, gasping "but Zara, It's JOHNNY DEPP!!"

Yeah, I know. What most of you dumbsh*ts don't realize is that Johnny Depp, while somehow managing to become a well known name, never was in any movies that made...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End Movie Review by Movie Addict (5/18/2008)

And what is the evil that pirates fear? It is, of course, a series that runs too long, is too confusing, and has too many characters that really don't contribute to the plot.

Of course, I came back to see Johnny Depp and Kiera Knightly, and the fantastic makeup and the special effects, and some great costumes for...
