The Snake Pit Movie Review by Jamie (6/7/2007)

I would be foolish to think that I could react to this movie the same way audiences did in 1948. The subject matter, the inhumane treatment of patients at a state hospital, is not quite the shocker now as it was then. That's not to say it's any less serious or upsetting, but we've since seen this many times in films...
