The Astronaut Farmer (2007)

An astronaut played by Thornton retires early to save his family farm. He still has a dream of going into space so he constructs his own rocket. The problem is he is on the verge of losing his farm, he needs $50,000.00 for fuel and Uncle Sam does everything in their power to try to keep this dreamer out of space.
