The Messengers Movie Review by Movie Addict (10/15/2011)

I hear that Scout Taylor-Compton auditioned for the role of Jess. I don't know what they were thinking when they picked Kristen Stewart. At least Taylor-Compton has experience in real horror movies.

It is seldom that I would watch a PG-13 horror movie, but that's all you get on the Syfy channel anyway after they chop them...

The Messengers Movie Review by Zara (11/15/2008)

There are all the standards problems with this movie that you would expect from a ghost story which is rated PG-13. Overly melodramatic acting from the parental figures who are upset with a teenage daughter who has "had some troubles" enough where they needed to move completely away to the boonies and yet have no problem...

The young woman who...

The Messengers Movie Review by Kristina (2/19/2007)

I love horror films but this one was really unbelievably bad. It was really predictable and wasn't even scary. I found myself laughing through parts of it that weren't even supposed to be funny. I found it to be somewhat reminiscent of "The Amityville Horror" and "The Grudge". A combination of the two just didn't work for...
